Pictures from Military Modelling, May and June 1971

Military Modelling ran a long series of articles on The Napoleonic Wargame by Charles Grant in the early 1970s. Earlier instalments were illustrated with pictures of the Minifigs HO (20mm) range; later ones included pictures of S Range figures, like the two posted here. The second picture includes some fondly remembered Bellona vacuum formed terrain pieces - walls, bridge and river sections.

Whatever happened to Bellona??

I still have a few of those walls, and the bridge (including the wrecked version).

With a little plaster of paris you could, with care, turn out miles of walls using the Bellona walls as a mould! :o))

I think these are the intermediate mini figs, not true S range & not the modern 'chunkies'
